Important Information for OFAI Participants

We're so glad you will experience the Oklahoma Fall Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain! Prepare to be inspired while renewing your creative energy. There's just a few things you need to know before you arrive:

1) Please arrive at Quartz Mountain for check-in between noon and 1 p.m. on Thursday. Please eat lunch BEFORE check-in! Participants can bring a lunch from home, dine at a local restaurant, or eat at the Sundance Cafe in the Lodge. Click here for the Sundance Cafe lunch menu. Please note lunch is at your own expense.

2) Please bring the following items to check-in:

1. Proof of public school employment, such as a valid school i.d., current pay stub, or a note from the principal on letterhead. (Only required for educators receiving a scholarship.)
2. OFAI Handbook (Please read before arrival!)
3. Quote Sheet (Please complete prior to arrival at Quartz Mountain.)
4. Any required supplies. (See supply lists below.)

Week One: Alternative Photography (Pinhole), Basic Digital Photography (Ben Long), Songwriting, Unconventional Painting Techniques , Solarplate Etching , Poetry
Week Two: Basic Digital Photography (Ben Long) , Woodblock Printing , Ballroom Dancing , Sculpting in Alabaster
Week Three: Monotype Printmaking with Water-Based Inks , Classical Figure Drawing , Photographing Strangers , Play, Sing, Dance (Orff) , Screenwriting , Visual Arts in the Special Needs Classroom
Week Four: Writing for Middle Graders, Teens and Beyond , Encaustic Painting , Fundamentals of Acting , Visual Storytelling through Digital Photography , Arts Integration
