Adjudicators are professional artists and members of the Oklahoma Arts Institute's Dance Advisory Panel. Since the Panel judges both ballet and modern dance auditions, they may conclude that your strengths lie in ballet and recommend that you are placed in that class. However, if you have not auditioned for ballet, you cannot be accepted into that program. For that reason, dancers are strongly encouraged to apply for both modern dance and ballet.
The modern dance program of the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute is endowed by the Kerr Foundation Modern Dance Fund.
